The hotel now have the option of using a single photo to show the room, four photos that morph, or 360 degree video.

Why should I interface my website reservations with INNfinity?
• Guest can make reservations when they want to (like at 2:00am)
• True two way availability, no need to manage a separate room inventory
• WebRes will show ALL your room types with either a single photo/4 photos that morph/360 degree video for each room type. Guest will upsell themselves.
• Guest will stop bothering the front desk, which allows front desk to take care of the in-house guests.
• You can offer repeat guests a special code to get reduced rates if they make their own reservations.

Hey - I don't know about you guys, but I could sure use one of Lance's martinis down at level 7 - Champagne Bar! What a great experience huh? I think the meetings could have been a little longer and more comprehensive though - NOT! I hope everyone got the info they were looking for during the meeting and if not, don't be afraid to ask our friends at Innfinity. As you saw throughout the meetings, they were basically at our disposal. How great is that? What other software - PMS or otherwise - do you get to meet face-to-face with the people that ACTUALLY write it? None that I know of. In fact, what you do get is "this is the software, deal with it." Talk about frustrating. How cool is it that Bev worked up a new rate page within a few hours of our discussions? It's unbelievable. We are fortunate as a group to be able to have a say in our software and I truly believe that our input is valued by everyone at Innfinity. INNfinity announces Front Desk check lookup with Posi-Touch (POS)

INNfinity has installed a new high level POS interface in all its Posi-Touch accounts. This new interface allows the front desk to click on the actual charge amount in the folio, and see/print the actual check detail. The amount of money hotels write off because of disputed restaurant room charges is significant. This interface with the Posi-Touch Point of Sale (POS) system, helps minimize the problem.

User Group Meeting

INNfinity just finished a very successful annual user group meeting. The two most popular forums were "How do I do..." and "I wish..." Everyone came away with a better understand of how to use INNfinity software to it's fullest capability and many new friends. Comments were heard like "This was definitely time well spent", " I'm absolutely coming back next year." Next year's meeting will be held on the East Coast. Dates will be announced this summer.

At the annual user group meeting the following board members were chosen: Ms. Debbie Branham (Best Western Hibiscus), Ms. Amy Wentzell (Marcum Conference Center), Mr. Chuck Everett (Ameritel Inns), Ms. Laurie Baumgartner (Cannery Resort & Casino), Ms. Kerri Christie (Pacific Terrace) Mr. Marc Metz (Newport Beachside Resort). The new board will help set the direction of the User Group and plan next years event.

Academy Hotel - New addition to INNfinity family

Academy Hotel (formerly Radisson) of Colorado Springs switched to INNfinity software when they became independent. Frank Thompson (GM) said it was an easy decision to go with INNfinity, because they were looking for software that was truly “easy to use”. The staff was surprised at how the one screen design allowed for fast training.

INNfinity Releases Version Update

INNfinity, Inc. released a minor version update earlier this week. "The update addresses some minor code revisions, report updates, and the addition of a few features that our userbase was clamoring to have, as well as some preparatory code for our .NET migration," said Jon Miller, an INNfinity software Engineer. In response to the latest software update the general manager of one hotel said, "We're very happy that INNfinity maintains their software with such frequency. We've seen no other company implement the features we ask for as quickly as they do."

INNfinity plans to begin work on a .NET version of their software in the fourth quarter of this year.

INNfinity Systems is set to install INNfinity V2 hotel software in Twin Falls AmeriTel Hotel this month.

INNfinity hosts 3rd annual User group conference - an Outstanding Success

INNfinity hosted this year’s user group conference on the cruise ship Majesty of the Seas. Meetings were held in the mornings then, in the afternoon, the group went out and had some fun time together. The main focus this year was the all new version of INNfinity being developed. The users helped develop the rate input screen and were able to see the actual screen the next morning.
